Born in Korea and raised in Russia and United States, David Jeong is an emerging conductor with towering aspirations eclipsed only by his unique abilities. David completed Bachelor and Master degree at New England Conservatory and his doctoral studies in orchestral conducting at Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts.

In 2014, Dr. Jeong was invited as an Associate Conductor to join Maestro Lorin Maazel's Castleton Music Festival in Virginia, where he was acclaimed by the Maestro as a conductor with "surprising talent."

In 2018, Dr. Jeong founded the Classical Notes Philharmonic with the mission of keeping classical music alive for a modern audience and future generations. One way Jeong hopes to achieve this is through showcasing various genres of classical music. In addition to reviving traditional compositions, Jeong plans to include feature film and symphonic music he composed with experience as previous Sony Music and Universal Music artist. On October 1, 2019, Dr. Jeong's new orchestral composition, Overture, was first performed at Carnegie Hall under his baton.

Previously, to become a composer and pianist, Dr. Jeong studied at the Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music and Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Russia. He earned both his Bachelor (Piano Performance) and Master of Music (Conducting) degrees at the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA. David has received acclaim in Russia, Hungary, Austria, Canada, and the United States. His debut piano albums were published by Sony Music and Universal Music of Korea, both of which poignantly showcase the passion and sincerity of this remarkable triple-threat conductor, composer, and pianist.

On June 13, 2024, Dr. Jeong conducted the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra at The Future Star Conductors & Composers Concert in Olomouc, Czech Republic. After the Concert, Maestro Jin Wang chose him to receive the award to become an Austrian Imperial Arts Artist. Recently, on July 16 and 17, 2024, Dr. Jeong was invited by the Haydn Symphony Orchestra of Vienna and made a successful conducting debut in Vienna, Austria.
